Holaryn Agent is a proprietary, standalone, local-first AI agent developed by Synergentic, Inc. Public release and operating-boundary evidence is published only when its distribution gate is satisfied.

The product
Holaryn Agent supports coding, automation, and personal or business work through a standalone host and explicit model connection. The terms below keep its distribution and operating boundaries explicit.
Proprietary source
Current Holaryn Agent source is proprietary and is not publicly distributed.
Public distribution, when approved, is limited to allowlisted binaries and verification metadata; it does not include Python packages or product source.
Standalone
The Agent host, loop, tools, memory, scheduler, and local interfaces do not require the optional Synergentic Platform.
Model-backed work still requires a configured local or remote model connection; optional integrations have their own prerequisites.
Local-first
Durable Agent state is local by default and the operator chooses which model and integration paths are enabled.
Configured remote providers and services receive the data sent to them. Local-first is not a claim that every workflow stays on-device.
Evidence-bounded
Exact release records, verification metadata, versioned guides, capability evidence, and durable run records support review.
Evidence for a build or run is not a guarantee of correctness, security, accessibility, or support for every environment.
Developer attribution
Developed by Synergentic, Inc.
The attribution is specific and deliberately narrow. It identifies the developer without turning absent corporate, legal, employment, press, or support information into public facts.

Current and historical source licensing
Current Holaryn Agent source is proprietary and not publicly distributed. Historical Synax-branded source releases through v0.11.3 remain under Apache-2.0 under their original terms; that historical license does not apply to current Holaryn versions.

Standalone Agent and optional Platform
The Agent is the independent proprietary product described on this site. Optional connected mode can attach it to a separate Platform through the Holaryn Agent Control Protocol (HACP).
Independent product
Standalone Agent
Holaryn Agent operates on its own with local defaults and a configured model connection.
The standalone product does not inherit Platform availability, managed services, pricing, or support terms.
Optional attachment
Optional connected mode
An administrator can configure the Agent to attach to the separate Synergentic Platform through HACP.
The connection is optional; the Platform is not bundled with or required by the standalone Agent.
